Record Slots Jackpot Hit at Indian Casino
A professional bail bondsman hit a record-breaking jackpot Sunday night at the Paradise Casino California. Richard Dickerson, owner of Affordable Bail Bonds in Phoenix, won a $243,000 payout while playing high-dollar slots. Dickerson, who had already had a good night by hitting several smaller jackpots, ended his evening up over $250,000.
The casino is run, along with its sister enterprise, Paradise Casino Arizona, by the Quechan Tribe, and is located near Yuma on the border between Arizona and California.
The previous record for a single jackpot at the Quechan casinos was $172,000, set over a year ago.
Dickerson said he stopped to play at the casino after purchasing some lottery tickets nearby. He stated he always trys to play at the Paradise locations when he can, as he finds them more appealing than casinos located around Phoenix.
Dickerson was also celebrating his six-month wedding anniversary the same evening. Asked what he would do with his newfound wealth, the 66-year-old man said, "I am going to party and I’m going to live life.”
For a man with a Midas touch, it might be wise to check those lottery tickets as soon as the drawing comes up!
