The rich and famous can pretty much go anywhere and do anything they want. They have been to the most elaborate of parties. So when they throw a party, they must be up on the latest fads.
The latest craze in the party scene is casino parties. Parties in which an unbelievable amount of money is spent to try and create the casino atmosphere in the privacy of friends.
When these parties are thrown, the host usually spares no expense. Live entertainment is flown in from places that could reach all over the world. The food is catered and extravagant.
The casino set up, itself, is a thing a beauty. Tables laid out in an aesthetic setting. Lights, music, nothing is spared when throwing one of these luxurious parties, and all that money is spent before the first card is dealt or the roulette wheel begins to spin.
The gambling at these parties usually is precipitated by the host giving guests of the parties starting amounts of money that can be spent on any of the casino games. Once the hosts money has run out, guests are free to use their own money, and that's when things get real interesting.
Friend to the stars Billy Skylar has attended a few of these parties and he claims that even though money is being spent, the overall theme is to have fun.
"The parties I've attended have involved some of the richest people in the World," said Skylar, "but overall they are there to mingle and have a good time with friends. It's almost as if the casino atmosphere is just for ambiance. After all, there is no amount of money that could be won that would change any of these people's lives."
