NBA's Gambling Referee Back in Jail
Tim Donaghy, the ex-NBA official disgraced in a game-fixing gambling scandal, is back in jail today after a reported probation violation. Donaghy, who was residing in a Tampa halfway house where he was being allowed to complete his sentence, failed to show up for work and was arrested by US Marshals.Donaghy only had until October 24th to finish his sentence. He had pled guilty to wire fraud and interstate transmission of betting information after cooperating with prosecutors concerning the gambling contacts with whom he arranged the fixes.

After being sentenced to fifteen months in prison, Donaghy was sent to the halfway house after being severely beaten in prison. Donaghy's latest arrest occurred after he failed to show up for his job in sales at a beverage company.
