Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut is showing why casino gambling can be good for an area. They are kicking off their hiring campaign in which they are ready to hire 2,000 employees in anticipation of the opening of the MGM Grande at Foxwoods.
2,000 people who have not been working, or who may have been in much worse financial situations will be hired for various jobs. Some of those jobs include dealers and administrative positions. Others will be hired for the sites restaurants. That number is expected to be 1,000, which would bring the total number of jobs created by the casino resort to 3,000.
During the hiring process, the company is ready to offer job fairs for potential employees. They also will be setting up kiosks around the property where people can apply. The job fairs will be held regionally.
The casino resort is set to open in May, and the addition of all of the jobs, coupled with the money that will be brought to the area because of the casino, will improve the way of living for many citizens in the area.
