Porn King Sued by Wynn for Gambling Debt
Times are tough in Las Vegas just like everywhere else, and the Wynn has resorted to calling in old and neglected debts to help keep revenue up. Charles Barkley was publicly pursued for a $400,000 marker left unpaid, causing the NBA star some embarrassment. A new suit has been levied against Alonzo Mourning Charities, claiming payment for convention space used was never received.
Now "Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis finds himself the subject of a Wynn suit claiming over $2 million in unpaid gambling debts. Perhaps Joe drank as much as the girls he films when they are nearly unconscious; maybe the casino figured if it was ok for teenagers to strip while blind drunk, then certainly Joe could gamble in the same condition. The claim covers gambling Francis did over the past sixteen months, a period which has not been kind to the softcore porn king.
Francis has already done jail time for allegedly filming underage models for his series of drunk, topless college girls. He is awaiting trial for tax evasion, and he is being sued by notorious whore Ashley Alexandra Dupre for $10 million, as she claims films he shot of her were done without her knowledge or understanding of how they would be used. This seems an unusual claim as she lived on the GGW bus for a week.
Francis spokesmen claim all debts to the Wynn have been paid.
One thing is certain: if you are a celebrity wishing to keep your gambling confidential, pay up front or gamble somewhere other than the Wynn Las Vegas.
Meantime, Francis can only hope to avoid prison, where his personal reenactment of "Girls Gone Wild' is eagerly awaited by Bubba, Rock, and Vinnie.
