Harrah's Casino Crank Caller Finally Identified

The operator who took the call had to listen to the woman claim that she killed her husband for losing too much money gambling, and that she was going to kill herself as well.

A woman with apparent psychological problems has been identified by police. The woman is accused of making threatening phone calls to casinos around the United States.

The woman had originally made a threatening phone call to Harrah's Rincon Casino on January 8th. The operator who took the call had to listen to the woman claim that she killed her husband for losing too much money gambling, and that she was going to kill herself as well.

Officers in Atlantic City were contacted after an operator at Caesar's put a similar claim in as the operator at Harrah's. The operator said that the woman told of how she killed somebody, and how she was prepared to commit suicide.

The woman has been identified with the help of both the Atlantic City Police Department and San Diego County Sheriff Investigators. The woman faces both fines and jail time for the crime.

At Harrah's the third floor was blocked off by police and a room by room search was completed. No victims were found, meaning the lady was not telling the truth to the phone operator.

The Sheriff's office that conducted the investigation is allowed to go and try and recoup their money that the investigation cost. The money would have to be reimbursed by the woman if she is found to be the culprit of the phone calls.
