Hefner Gets Big Las Vegas Birthday Party

Hefner was accompanied to Vegas by his string of girlfriends.

If one is partying on a limitless budget, perhaps no place has the potential for enjoyment that Las Vegas does. That's probably why Hugh Hefner decided to celebrate his 82nd birthday this past weekend at the Palms Hotel and Resort Casino, just off the Las Vegas Strip.

Hefner was accompanied to Vegas by his string of girlfriends from the show, "The Girls Next Door," Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquadt. The three women's ages together are short of Hefner's.

Palms owner George Maloof dedicated a special table at the world's only operating Playboy Club, located inside the Palms, to Hefner, labeling it forever as "Hef's Table."

Aside from hundreds of well-wishers which included celebrities and scantily-clad beauties, the party also featured a surprise appearance by Pamela Anderson, who danced for Hefner wearing only a pair of high heels.Anderson, about to start filming her reality tv series "Pamela", showed up to pay tribute to the man who introduced her to the world.

The Palms had a special Playboy feel throughout the weekend, as 2007 Playboy Playmate of the Year Sara Jean Underwood celebrated her birthday there the following night with a sleepover-themed pajama party.

Gambling at the Palms certainly has an upside other casinos can't offer. If one is truly lucky, slipping into one of these wonderful bacchanalian revelries would be a jackpot never forgotten.
