Holland Prepared To Reduce Casino Tax

Holland has been riding a tax roller coaster when it comes to their casinos, now they are prepared to reduce the rate once again.

Holland casinos have not had a stable tax rate for a couple of years, so it comes as no surprise that the rate is going to change again, only this time for the better.

Casinos in Holland have been paying a 40.85 percent tax rate over the past year for their table games, a number that was considered high according to the casinos.

That number, 40.85, is up from the 33.3 percent that casinos were paying just over a year ago, but does not include any taxes on their slot machines.

Now, the casinos and the government have gotten together for negotiations, and they have come to an agreement that both sides are satisfied with.

The new tax rate will be 29 percent, which is considerably lower than the one casino owners are paying now. The key to the new tax pan, however, is the addition of slot machines.

Slots were not being taxed before now, and their addition to the agreement is the reason that they were able to negotiate such a low rate.
