After Divorce Misstep, Heather Mills to Get Off on Right Foot

Mills appeared on the last season of "Dancing With the Stars" as a contestant.

Heather Mills will be a judge at the Miss USA pageant April 11th, to be held at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, on the Las Vegas Strip. The former Mrs. McCartney continues in her attempt to establish herself as a celebrity persona in her own right, complete and separate from Paul.

Donald Trump, a man who certainly acts as if he believes the old adage that there is no such thing as bad publicity, approved Mills' appointment to the position, saying he respected her for her courage.

Mills appeared on the last season of "Dancing With the Stars" as a contestant, a bold move considering her loss of her left leg in a motorcycle accident years ago.

Mills also recently established herself as the only person who could take a $100 million offer and turn it into a $50 million payout, in her divorce from the ex-Beatle.

An anonymous source from McCartney's last tour said members of the tour were happy to see McCartney free of Mills. "The whole tour she was such a bitch to everyone, and Paul had to spend all his time following behind, aplogizing for her behavior."

Mills was a pornographic model before losing her leg. After she married McCartney, she became a spokesman for animal rights and vegetarian causes. When a photo of her wearing fur came out, she said she had only changed her viewpoint after her marriage to Paul.

It seems Heather Mills is destined to always be just a level below; she was a model who had to do low-class men's magazines; she's been on a cheap, idol-style reality spinoff; she couldn't quite take the crown of "Most Hated Beatle Wife" from Yoko Ono; now she's second fiddle to Donny and Marie, the pageant hosts. She'll probably be second choice behind Kathy Willets at the Bunny Ranch.
