Yet Another Montana Casino Robbery Occurs Today

This was the second robbery of the Lucky Diamond, along with heists of casinos in Lolo, Billings, Helena, Billings Heights, and Hamilton over the last several weeks.

Play Now at English Harbour! For the seventh time in two months, a Montana casino was robbed. Early Monday morning, around 5 a.m., a single robber entered the Lucky Diamond Casino in Missoula, brandished a gun, and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

This was the second robbery of the Lucky Diamond, along with heists of casinos in Lolo, Billings, Helena, Billings Heights, and Hamilton over the last several weeks. Online Casino Advisory has pointed out the repetitious behavior and methods used by the perpetrators, as well as called for state and local law enforcement to meet with casino management and security to prevent future incidents, but deaf ears have not heard.

As usual, the robber was described as wearing a hoody sweatshirt. This time the description also mentioned the suspect was a Native American, about 5'7", and fled in a silver car with tinted windows.

Previous robberies all had perpetrators leaving on foot. Perhaps the Montana crime element has been so successful with their constant withdrawals from casino funds that they are now mobile.

The ease with which these individuals are committing these crimes is astounding. No sign of intense preparation exists; instead, people in Montana apparently walk in on the spur of the moment, demand cash, and leave, catching security in a constant state of unreadiness.

The casinos have been exceedingly lucky so far; how many more times can these robberies occur before a patron or employee is hurt or killed? When that does hapen, will authorities finally address this matter seriously?
