MotorCity Hotel Casino Ready To Be Revealed To The Public

Televisions that take room service orders, check flight status, and can be used as thermostats is just one advantage of staying at the MotorCity.

Marian Ilitch and her husband are probably best known for their ownership of Detroit sports teams, but Marian's expansion project to her MotorCity Casino Hotel is far more remarkable than any product she has in the sporting arena.

$300 million was the cost for the 400 room, seventeen story tower that was designed mainly to show off the automotive culture that exists in Detroit.

The rooms in the hotel range from $300 a night, all the way up to $5,500 a night. The suite, which is 2,500 square feet is at the top end of the pricing, while the $300 rooms are still packed with amenities.

Televisions that take room service orders, check flight status, and can be used as thermostats is just one advantage of staying at the MotorCity.

Ilitch had this to say about the new hotel, "I wanted to have a hotel that was a signature, that stood out in the city against our backdrop. I wanted a hotel that was classy and luxurious, but very, very comfortable and not intimidating."

While not intimidating, the new hotel is quite a beautiful sight to see, and that view will be available to the public starting on Wednesday.
