MTR Gaming Group Ready To Pull Out of Nevada Casinos

Although the sale of Binions is almost complete, that is not the only Nevada property MTR is selling.

Nevada has always been the place for companies looking to make it big in the casino industry. Now, with so much casino expansion around the country, companies are actually pulling out of Nevada.

The MTR Gaming Group is one of those companies. They are currently in the process of selling their Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel in Las Vegas. The deal is with TLC Casino Enterprises.

The sale is reportedly for $32 million in cash. The final hurdles for the sale will likely occur in the next month. The sale needs to be approved by both the Nevada Gaming Commission and the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

MTR has projects in both the Midwest and Pennsylvania. Table games will soon be introduced at Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack, and Resort. The company is also the casino markets in Michigan, Minnesota, and Ohio.

Although the sale of Binions is almost complete, that is not the only Nevada property MTR is selling. They also have a North Las Vegas property that it is in the process of selling.
