Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Casino Ready To Open To The Stars
As if Las Vegas was not already home to the place where superstars from Hollywood let off some steam, everybody beware, the town is about to get just a bit more star struck.
The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino is set to have its grand opening this weekend and there will be no shortage of A list stars at the resort to welcome it to Vegas.
Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis, two mega stars that believed in the Planet Hollywood franchise from the beginning will be in attendance over the weekend. The two stars were among the original investors in the company.
Also expected to be there is Jon Stewart, the comedian who has seen his popularity skyrocket through his television show, The Daily Show.
On Saturday, the queen diva herself, Barbara Streisand will perform at the resort.
The resort was formerly the Aladdin, but they have completely renovated the place and the idea behind the madness is to bring Hollywood and Vegas together.
Movie premiers, poker tournaments, and film production are expected to be the highlights of the new casino resort.
Evidence of the plan has already been visible as Ashton Kutcher's new movie, "What happens in Vegas...," was shot there, and Sony had their premier of "Resident Evil: Extinction", was held there in September.
