Jackson Rancheria Casino Denying Rumors of Massive Layoffs

"We have had no one laid off, excused, or terminated due to the construction," he said.

Play Now at Las Vegas USA Casino! Casinos are used to taking peoples money and putting pressure on gamblers. A casino in California is feeling the pressure of temporary relocation after a review revealed potential defects in the building.

The rumor that has been circulating is that the casino is now ready to lay off people due to the temporary location switch. Not enough money is being generated and with revenue down, there is a need for cuts in the number of employees.

That rumor has been denied by officials of the casino. Jackson Rancheria Casino, Hotel, and Conference Center Chief Executive Officer Rich Hoffman says no such cuts are happening. "We have had no one laid off, excused, or terminated due to the construction," he said.

The move of the casino over to the town hall has helped keep alive business for a casino that is the biggest county employer. The casino is still generating both business and money, and there are no plans to lay off any employees.

"We have asked employees to volunteer to take their vacation hours during this time of construction," said Hoffman. Officials from the state claim that as soon as Rancheria officials received word of the building defect, they immediately responded.
