Target Date Set For Revel Casino in Atlantic City

Play Now at English Harbour! Atlantic City will have its latest mega-casino resort opened by the end of 2008, according to the developers. Revel Entertainment has set a target date of November 2008 or earlier for the opening of their new casino project.

The casino resort is state of the art and will receive much attention once opened. Two twin towers that will become the highest buildings in Atlantic City will be the centerpiece of the new project.

The company does not know whether they will do the construction all at once for both towers, or if they will get one up and running and proceed slowly on the other.

The new resort will also have its own private beach and the buildings will all have an ocean theme to them. The towers will each have 1,900 rooms in them.

Entertainment attractions, dining establishments, and 500,000 square feet of retail will also be included at Revel's twenty acre oceanfront site. "At the end of the day, our goal is very simple. Our company is creating a place where adults can have fun," said Revel's chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Kevin DeSanctis.
