DEP Gives Revel Permit For Atlantic City Casino
The Revel Entertainment Group has cleared one of its biggest hurdles, securing their Coastal Area Facility Review Act permit, and now has all the permits necessary to move on with their Atlantic city casino project.
The Atlantic City Planning Board gave their approval to the casino project earlier this month, and now the Revel group is ready to build their casino resort on twenty acres of land along the Atlantic City boardwalk.
The latesy permit has approved 150,000 square foot of casino space, 500,000 square foot of entertainment, retail and dining space, a spa, health club, and two hotel towers that will have about 1,900 rooms each.
The site of the future casino resort is one of the largest properties in Atlantic City and is on the nothern end of the boardwalk.
Revel Entertainment's Kevin DeSanctis had this to say about their latest victory, "Over the last year Revel has made significant progress in advancing its plan to develop a unique resort entertainment casino project."
he then went on to say, "We look forward to continuing our work with local and state authorities and gaming regulators as we commence footing and foundation work shortly to deliver new entertainment experiences for consumers when we open in 2010."
