Three Rivers Casino Opens To Public After Power Outage
Three Rivers Casino in Oregon has been ready for their opening to the public for a while now. When the day finally came, weather almost prevented it from happening.
Fifty mile an hour winds swept through Oregon yesterday on the day the casino was to open to the public. The winds caused a power outage at the casino that threatened to push the opening back.
The power eventually came back on and the casino went on with the opening. Over 350 people showed up for the opening ceremonies. After the short ceremony, the gaming floor was packed with people, according to officials.
The casino also has five restaurants to their credit. All the restaurants were busy on their first day of business.
The hotel which has ninety three rooms also was packed. The rooms have been sold out for several weeks.
Online Casino Advisory's own Bill Prince was on hand for the opening and had this to say, "Outside of the weather, the casino was jumping with excitement. It looked like the people of Oregon had been waiting a long time for a quality casino to open, and it appears that is what Three Rivers is."
