Final Four Online Sports Gambling Finds Carolina Top Choice
After two weeks of thrilling finishes and exciting basketball, the men's college basketball tournament has reached the last weekend, featuring the Final Four. Players gambling at online sports books have made the North Carolina Tar Heels a heavy favorite.Carolina is listed as a 10-11 play, less than even money. Connecticut is the second choice, at 9-5. Each of the other two teams, Michigan State and Villanova, are considered 4-1 to take home the championship.
OCA sorts analyst Edmund Crumley picked Villanova as his dark horse candidate before March Madness got underway, and he's still backing the Philadelphia school.
"Villanova has raised their level of play. The defense the team displayed against Duke was as good as any played in the NCAAS this year, and, in beating Pitt, 'Nova showed the mettle to win close, physical games, " says Crumley.
Villanova is a four-point underdog to North Carolina on Saturday. Connecticut will spot Michigan State eight points, with the winners advancing to the Monday night showdown.
