CAP Duo Point Fingers as Online Casinos Flee

Once the safe haven for online casinos, CAP is now seeing its integrity questioned throughout the industry, and each of the two main owners blames the other.

The situation at Casino Affiliate Programs is deteriorating faster than could be imagined. Once the safe haven for online casinos, CAP is now seeing its integrity questioned throughout the industry, and each of the two main owners blames the other.

Yesterday, Lou Fabiano wrote to CAP members, and the online gambling industry in general, that he was being pushed out by partner Warren Jolly, who Fabiano revealed is allegedly behind the hidden ownerships and conflicts of interest which caused CAP members to boil over.

Never mind that Lou had previously posted repeatedly that those conflicts were non-existent. As was suggested here before, Fabiano's story resembles the steroid tales of Alex Rodriguez,  evolving and changing as he floats possible versions to the public.

After all, it was Lou in his Professor persona who banned members left and right for merely bringing up the topics of undisclosed relationships. Now, in a masterpiece of irony, he finds himself banned from his own Internet casino forums.

Jolly has responded, throwing blame back on Fabiano for the accumulated problems at CAP and the changes in style and personality. Jolly promises the real truth will soon be posted, which some wits might say will come as soon as he can concoct it.

Eah has accused the other of abusing his position, ruining CAP for the rest of the Internet gambling industry. And both are right. Each seems more similar to his partner the worse the rift grows.

So the situation is that both men denied the ties to Cardspike and Absolute Slots, and now each accuses the other of forcing that horrible idea on the other. Meanwhile, they engage in a most public and highly unprofessional mudfight for control of CAP, a company seemingly headed for worthlessness.

Reports are now coming in of affiliate managers pulling up stakes and deserting CAP London once the fiasco was in full fray. The display ongoing in the bitter exchange of e-mails cannot be impressing too many business associates.

Previous complaints about CAP, including its moves to turn Spring Break into a money event, its harsh pricing structure, and its attempts to crush CAC are bubbling to the surface. All the problems can be traced to one thing: greed.

It is too early to predict who will win this death struggle for control of CAP. But it might not be too early to predict whose death it will be, and the answer is CAP.
