CAP Bans Critics of Online Casino It Claims to Not Own
The ongoing scandal at Casino Affiliate Programs gets more and more absurd as the sticky mess ties Lou Fabiano and Warren Jolly into knots. Former CAP members are reporting they have been banned from CAP forums for critiquing the online casinos CAP claims to not be involved with.
On the Gambling Portal Webmasters Association Forums, CAP members say that merely mentioning Absolute Slots or Cardspike have resulted in permanent bans. CAP officials have been linked to undisclosed partnership and ownership arrangements with these online gambling sites.
But, despite fervent denials from CAP leaders Fabiano and Jolly that CAP has any hidden relationship with the two gaming sites, posters receive bans even for mild comments about them. One affiliate operator recounted how he had mostly praised Absolute Slots, but mentioned nervousness because of payment problems from Cardspike.
That was enough to earn the long-time member a one-way ticket off the CAP forums. In CAP, everything is wonderful and sunny, or else you're gone.
Other affiliates say CAP has been headed down the wrong road for quite some time. Rumors have emerged of strong-arm tactics and threats against unruly affiliates, and payment programs through CAP are not trustworthy now, if ever they were.
CAP co-founder Lou Fabiano is trying to stem the flood of business leaving his forums by smiling and saying things are great and getting better. He seems as truthful as Alex Rodriguez, telling a different version of his steroid story at every turn. As more details emerge and the last story is revealed to be a lie, the next version comes out, and this time it's the truth... sure it is.
