Online Casino 888.com Continues Cricket Star Poker Promotions

The next promotion will send the winner on a trip to Las Vegas, to compete in the World Series of Poker, with Warne as traveling companion, advisor, mentor, and competitor.

Online casino operator 888.com has extended and enriched its promotions involving legendary Australian cricket star Shane Warne. The first promotion ended with the winner, Nathan Perry of New South Wales, receiving an all-expenses poker party at his home featuring the bowler, who is also an avid poker player.

The next promotion will send the winner on a trip to Las Vegas, to compete in the World Series of Poker, with Warne as traveling companion, advisor, mentor, and competitor. A stay at a ritzy Vegas hotel and $2000 in spending money are also included.

Players can qualify on any of 888.com's free daily events by finishing in the top three. Playing in the daily $1.10 buy-in tournaments can increase the chances of winning.

Perry's party allowed him to invite eight friends over to play with Warne on a professional table, while served pizza and beer by their own waitress. Warne also signed commerative items.

Warne is considered one of the top cricket players of all time. He held the all-time record for most wickets taken by a bowler, 708, until it was broken in December 2007. In 2000, a panel of cricket experts voted Warne of the five top players of the 20th century, the only bowler to achieve this honor.
