Intertops Online Casino Releases Red Casino Format
Officials at Intertops Casino announced today that the owners of the online casino will open the Red Casino by the end of August to the general public. The gambling site has been in the process of transforming itself from Microgaming software to that provided by Real Time Gaming.Intertops executives were unhappy with Microgaming for its decision to abandon the US market after the Kentucky domain name seizure case indicated the legal challenges online casinos would face from US governments. In May, the company announced plans to operate two casinos, a Green Casino which would continue employing Microgaming skins, and Red Casino, which would use RTG software and accept US customers.
Microgaming officials immediately made moves to withdraw service from Intertops, leaving the Red Casino as its only operation.
"Intertops.com Red Casino runs on a brand new state-of-the-art software with over 350 new games and massive progressive jackpots," said Intertops spokesman John G. Rist.
Microgaming is rumored to have prevented Intertops' plan to operate under two software systems because it is preparing for a possible legal re-entry into the US online casino market, and doesn't want federal regulators questioning its commitment to abiding by US law.
