New iPhone 4 Still Doesn't Have Online Gambling for US Residents

The eagerly anticipated iPhone 4 is meeting with a number of complaints upon its release, including the inability of US purchasers to use online gambling sites.

Play the Best Slots at Superslots Casino! Consumers across the US queued up to be the first to get one of the first models of the new iPhone 4 from Apple, but the buzz over the device is quickly fading as flaws are apparent to users. The continued lack of online gambling games is but one of the problems facing US purchasers of the iPhone 4.

Apple had previously banned Internet gaming applications from its iPhone line, until the public demand forced the company to accept a recent online gambling application developed by Betfair. The app, which featured World Cup betting, was however still unavailable to US consumers.

Now, although the iPhone 4 has promised to carry cutting-edge technology, the inability for US residents to play at online casino sites has become one of a litany of complaints regarding the new phone.

Among the other reported issues is that the reception plummets whenever someone touches the phone. According to Inquisitr.com, "Users say that when they touch the phone, the signal drops by anything up to 3 bars, and returns when they take their hands off it."

This unusual problem, even more bizarrely, occurs only with left-handed people. After angering the significant number that plays online gambling games, Apple has now disqualified one in eight of the entire consumer population before a single call is made.

Ironically, one of the charges that works to keep online gambling unavailable to US residents is the inability to provide sufficient security against fraud and ID theft, yet the iPhone 4 doesn't secure calls made on its video phone software. While technologically safeguarded Internet casinos are denied access to US markets, the new iPhone's videos can be intercepted by unintended parties.

Without online gambling applications, iPhones will never wholly meet the expectations and desires of the US public. Apple has conceded in the UK that consumers want the right to entertain themselves at online casinos, and now it waits for the US government to catch up.
