Casino Games Promoted By Kenny Rogers For iPhones

If the federal government thought preventing online gambling was problematic, wait until the iPhone games are fully developed.

Play a Free Hour at Casino Classic! The first step in putting a casino in virtually every person's pocket or handbag has arrived, as gambling games become available on iPhones and iPods. Kenny Rogers, of  "The Gambler" fame, has combined forces with MyNuMo to bring his Casino Club games to iPhones everywhere.

MyNuMo, which provides downloadable games such as bowling, golf driving range, and backgammon for the sophisticated phone system, now will include roulette, poker, blackjack, and slots, in conjunction with Rogers' GamblerMobile.com.

While the current format only allows play against the computer, new networking capabilities are expected to be released soon, which would allow players to compete against each other, converse while playing, and enter multi-player tournaments.

“It’s exciting to be offering new gaming experiences on innovative and ground breaking devices” said Kenny Rogers. “I’m a huge fan and I can tell you our casino games look and play great on the iPhone and iPod touch.”

Harold Weiner, a volunteer who tested the games online, said, "It plays just like an online casino. Everything is very user-friendly; i loved the blackjack so much, i felt Las Vegas was coming to my phone."

If the federal government thought preventing online gambling was problematic, wait until the iPhone games are fully developed. As long as there are players willing and able to establish themselves as the house, gamblers will be able to play for money anytime they pick up the phone. Try regulating 50 million phones, all of which are dealing in "virtual" money... until the participants meet offline to exchange funds.

Any illegal bookmaker would now have the chance to run his own casino, and even if law enforcement is using wiretaps, the only evidence would be of people enjoying games with imaginary cash as a scoring system.

So, online gamblers who feel assaulted by the government's stance against the online casino industry, rejoice! Soon there will be so many available outlets, no law will be effective at prohibiting convenient casino gambling anywhere in the country.
