Kahnawake and Antigua Come Up Empty on White List Applications
Kahnawake and Antigua have lost their bid to be included in the White List. That could mean devastation for the two who were hoping to gain inclusion into the group.
Tribal leaders have claimed that nearly seventy five percent of the world's online gaming traffic goes through Kahnawake servers. That number, if correct, is about to change drastically after a ruling by the UK Gaming Commission.
The ruling was to not allow White List approval for either Kahnawake or Antigua. Gaining inclusion in the list was important for both because only those on the White List can advertise in the United Kingdom.
Even though Antigua and Kahnawake both have large number of gambling entities, there is a strong chance that not being able to advertise in the UK will send some of those gaming companies looking for other places to host their servers.
Both Antigua and Kahnawake will stand by and watch as the companies that are licensed with them will try and secure licenses from Tasmania, Alderney, Isle of Man, and EEA jurisdiction.
