US Online Casino Players Left in Cold as Microgaming Improves
Online casinos employing Microgaming software have a great new feature. The new banking system is called Quick Banking, and it eliminates a lot of the time-consuming steps previously necessary to add a deposit to an existing account while gambling online.
While actually playing in a game, patrons can click on a bank icon. The first time this method is used, a short setup process appears. The gambler chooses which of his financial accounts he wishes to make his default source, and specifies a default amount to deposit.
Once that has been set, players can add money to their online account between spins of the slot, or between a deal of the cards. Simply clicking the bank icon again allows the customer to enter a security code, the amount desired, hit "deposit', and back to the game.
Microgaming casinos such as the Jackpot Factory, which contains both All Slots and All Jackpots, have already begun to use the new convenience feature. But, unfortunately, the decision a few weeks ago to withdraw from the US market by Microgaming means new US players are not accepted at casinos powered by this software.
While existing customers at Microgaming are grandfathered in, all new applicants are rejected. Continuing legal harassment by the US Department of Justice, as well as bizarre actions such as the Kentucky domain name case, which apparently put Microgaming at the top of the target list despite no gaming occurring at Microgaming itself, forced the company to reluctantly refuse any new US players.
