Rival Gaming Accounting Raises Online Casino Affiliate Questions
Sites affiliated with Rival Gaming online casinos are wondering about peculiar customer patterns that seem to be recurring at unlikely rates. According to a series of posts on the forums on the Gambling Portal Webmasters Association website, Rival-directed players making deposits of $1000 or more seem to never repeat past the initial reporting. The affiliates posting note that different online casinos operating under the Rival Gaming umbrella may have drastically different methods, so information does not necessarily apply to all Rival gambling sites. But several unique sources report that, while small depositors are noted to last months at the Rival casinos, the bigger depositors inevitably seem to quickly disappear.
"We had 2 depositors that still claim to be depositing; however, no commission is showing," posts affiliate operator Gamble Stop. Gamble Stop goes on to mention that a player incorrectly listed at a rival affiliate was moved by the affiliate manager to his listings, making him wonder if the ease with which the operation was committed may lead to more questionable player re-listings.
"We seem to get really good signups at a Rival site but every time a player comes in and deposits $1k or more, they disappear," says GPWA member AndreS. "This is starting to happen very consistently and I don't want to be paranoid, but something doesn't quite smell right."
However, other affiliates haven't noticed any problem.
"Overall I am happy with Rival, stats are very good too !" states GCG.
With recent affiliate scandals in mind, operators are certainly paranoid about receiving the credit due them. Rival Gaming has come to represent well-developed gaming available to US patrons, and Internet casinos operating on their software largely have established honorable reputations. Hopefully, Rival and its casinos will respond to calm fears of a new brewing affiliate issue.
