CAP Leader Whistles Past Graveyard as Online Casinos Abandon Ship
Lou Fabiano, co-founder of Casino Affiliate Programs, gave a video interview while at the recent CAP convention in London which was remarkable on several counts. For starters, Fabiano seems to have forgotten his own resignation from CAP, ostensibly for health reasons.Fabiano gives a great performance, acting as if business is as usual, with only a minor stop to deny proven undisclosed ties to Absolute Slots. No mention is even made of his association with Cardspike, the online poker room that has neglected to pay affiliates and customers.
Fabiano acts astonished that so many see a conflict of interest in representing affiliates while having ownership and partnership with casinos and poker sites. Then he hurriedly skips on to announce what he sees as many growing opportunities at CAP.
But the CAP forums are dead, a shell of their former selves. Those not banned for being critical of Fabiano and partner Warren Jolly, or for even mentioning a dispute exists, have largely left of their own accord. Much of the traffic on this once-thriving online gambling information site is moderators and forum leaders, talking amongst themselves in desperation.
J. Todd, executive director of APCW and a leader in exposing CAP's underhandedness in dealing with clients, lists on the Gambling Portal Webmasters Association forums a string of ideas lifted by CAP from other Internet gambling industry members. He clearly demonstrates that CAP goals were to create an empire without thought to ethics or morals.
CAP officials may continue to pretend everything is great in their crumbling systems, but until transparency reigns, CAP might as well call itself Ultimate Bet.
