New Online Poker System Designed for Casual Players

A new style of rake allocation for online poker is designed to keep casual players interested in an environment previously dominated by pro players.

Play Now at Slots Oasis! A new online poker system is expected to interest casual players tired of getting beat bup by pros. The Ongame Network is introducing its Essence program, which gives more credit for rake to players who lose than consistent winners.

The special rules grant both bonus points and lower costs to casual patrons. Ongame hopes the system draws partners whose networks concentrate on quantity of players rather than handling high-dollar professional games.

“Style of play gives a truer reflection of an online poker player’s worth," stated Martin Lerby, the head of Ongame. "Our Essence powered business model leads the industry by using this new valuation to embrace all players for the benefit of all network stakeholders.”

Lerby said that the Essence system will not only benefit players, but will allow participating networks to draw more players.

Both Betfair and Btsson have reached agreement with Ongame to use the Essence program.

“Being able to welcome all kinds of players to all kinds of games is what Betsson is all about,” said Betsson CEO Pontus Lindwall. “Ongame Network enables us to do this.”
