Online poker site Titan Poker is offering the opportunity to members to qualify for the Titan Poker Team. By qualifying for the team, players receive sponsorship to play at major live tournaments as representatives of Titan Poker.

Twelve players will be selected from final tournaments to be played December 18th, 2008.

Seats in the finals can be won either through monthly qualifying tournaments, with a buy-in of $10 + $1, or weekly qualifiers with a buy-in of $1 + $0.10. Also races will be held specific to certain countries, with seats available to the top finishers.

Team members will get a six-month contract for the beginning of 2009, which includes $16,500 in buy-ins for tourneys, a personal webpage documenting their gambling adventures, and all the winnings one can take down.

A Titan spokesman pointed out the great opportunity for anyone considering a professional poker career, and said, "By winning a seat on the Titan Poker Team, they will receive excellent publicity and a chance to show off their skills on a global stage."

Titan Poker features more than $16,000,000 in monthly prizes, and will host the European Championship of Online Poker in November, with a guaranteed $4,150,000 in prizes.
