The most important thing that must be coupled with the expansion of gambling around the world is the spread of knowledge about problem gambling. It has been proven in study after study that problem gambling does not expand as casinos get built up. In most cases, incidence of problem gambling actually goes down in areas where strong campaigns are run that inform the public of the possible perils of gambling and how to get help when help is needed.
